Visiting Fellowship: Institute for History and Ethics of Medicine

The Fellowship at the Institute for History and Ethics of Medicine Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg is awarded to researchers working in medical ethics and related fields. Selected fellows receive up to 1.500 EUR per month to cover expenses during their stay in Halle.

 

Researchers may apply anytime by sending a curriculum vitae and an outline of the purpose of the stay (max. 3 pages). Fellows will receive a work space and access to the institute’s library resources. In addition the Fellowship shall serve as opportunity to present and discuss ongoing work with scholars of a range of disciplines at the institute. 

The institute forms part of interdisciplinary Centre for Health Sciences („Profilzentrum Gesundheitswissenschaften“) with scholars from health research, sociology, epidemiology and further disciplines. In addition there are institutional collaborations with the interdisciplinary Centre „Medicine-Ethics-Law“ (IWZ Medizin-Ethik-Recht).
