Ruth Brewster, Junior Doctor Observer

Ruth Brewster is presently a final year medical student at Edinburgh University, having previously spent a year at Leeds University completing a BA in Biomedical Ethics.

Sam Behjati, Junior Doctor Observer

Sam Behjati is an Academic Clinical Fellow and Specialist Trainee in Paediatrics at the UCL Institute of Child Health.

Maggie Rose, Junior Doctor Observer

Maggie Rose is currently a foundation year 2 doctor at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London. She graduated from King's College London Medical School 2007 and intercalated a BSc in Clinical Ethics and Law in 2004. She has been a student observer on the Governing Body of the Institute of Medical Ethics since 2004/5.

Dhupal Patel, Student Observer

Dhupal Patel is in her third year at Imperial College School of Medicine. She has launched an ethics in the community project for outreach schools, due to begin in January 2009. Dhupal's interests include widening participation schemes, medical ethics and law and gastroenterology

Gauri Verma, Student Observer

Gauri Verma is currently in her final year of medical school at the Univeristy of Bristol. She completed a BSc in Bioethics in 2006. Her research areas to date include: Analysis of the ethical issues portrayed by the media on global health, and The effects of meditation on mental health. Gauri's interests include global health, justice, and psychiatry.
